Ride2CareTrans, LLC is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of every individual we serve. As a Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) provider, we comply with all applicable HIPAA regulations to ensure your information is handled with the highest standards of security and care.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect the minimum amount of information necessary to coordinate and complete transportation services. This may include:
• Name
• Pickup and drop-off locations
• Contact phone number
• Appointment date and time
We do not collect or store Medicaid ID numbers or detailed medical records. Rides are assigned to us by MATP brokers, and we receive only the basic information needed to perform the trip.
For private pay customers, we may collect payment information to process transactions. All payments are securely handled through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Ride2CareTrans, LLC does not store or retain any credit card information in our systems. All sensitive payment data is encrypted and securely transmitted in compliance with Stripe’s industry-standard data protection protocols.
2. Information Sharing
We do not sell, share, or disclose any personal or payment information to third parties. All information is used solely for the purpose of providing transportation services or as required by law.
3. Data Security
We maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect all personal and payment information. These include:
• Secure dispatch and scheduling systems
• PCI-compliant payment processing
• Employee privacy training
• Internal access controls and system monitoring
